well i'll consider about the price later, haha. I like VAIO's design but i don't really know its functions and all that. Besides it's expensive lol. I've heard about DELL, COMPAQ too...hmm..

i think DELL is not bad, the price is reasonable, and theor service quite good too...:)
If you buy through online, can get much cheaper than walk-in shop also. :)

大致上每个牌子都有各自的优点啦。
不过我个人还是觉得VAIO比较好，虽然会贵了点。

Vaio nice, good looking, but a little bit over price...:( compaq is nice, asus not bad and good looking too, acer is good if u have low budget, Dell quite good, specially those colorful series...
ps: just as reminder, windows vista need more memory, so is better if they given free upgrade ram to 2GB. coz 1GB not enough.
* normally girls will go for good looking 1, guys will go for good performance 1. :)

嗯，dell 得却很棒。。。比起其它牌子来得更好
Vaio 外表很美但价钱是买它 sony 牌子而已， spec 嘛很烂除非丢 12k 那么就 ok;P

对！fujitsu 超小型的手提电脑可以和sony vaio 比。有些还更好呢。
觉得toshiba还不错，公司才买不久的 toshiba treca m5 看起来还ok,只是外观有点死板
《ACER 一个字， 便宜。。。〉 因为便宜，所以别嫌它笨重。至少硬件素质不太差。。。

If you want affordable with almost everything ready you can go for DELL, because it includes genuine windows xp or vista (you decide), but bare in mind xp might not be getting support in the near future, and vista require at least 2gb ram to run smoothly.
It's not the look that matters, you have to ask yourself one question, what is the purpose of buying a notebook, then base on your requirement, you choose the one that fit your needs most.

add one more thing here. don't think you can play 3d games in a RM 2+++ notebook, notebook with this price rank not for heavy gaming. and mostly people not recommend use notebook for gaming.
